A Year in Review: 2018
My Fellow Art Collectors, Supporters and Dear Friends,
Happy Holidays! How has everyone been?
I’ve been flying under the radar as of late, in search of a new studio. I have since found a lovely new workplace to rest on my laurels...kidding ;)
I’m BACK IN ACTION and better than ever! It was great to have that time to catch up on all of the other forces of business and creative perspective I needed to move me forward, and settle in to my new digs. Wait until you see what I’ve been cooking up! Larger than life, and better than ever…
I’d like to start by sending mad love to my global family, especially during this holiday season of giving thanks! I thank you for sticking with me.
Cute, right?
While laying low, a few notable beauties took place this year that I am always happy and proud to A painting day at Sick Kids Hospital in Marnie’s Lounge with the patients and their families.

The Camp Ooch Gala Paddle Auction! Our second year being a part of the Sick Kids Foundation Innovators Group. Toronto Makes book project with the Family of Things collective.
*Coming to bookstores near you, Spring 2019.
In other fun news Saturday Night Live used some of my work once again, during a great episode hosted by the talented Donald Glover, who also performed as musical guest. You can see a sliver of the “The Juggler” here. LOL.
I experimented with a little rock n’ roll, and hosted an intimate vernissage cocktail at The Spoke Club, entitled “Rhythm + Treble”. BOOYAH! That was a fun...
Over the summer I had the privilege of joining the “Style By Sarai” crew in Florence, Italy, to attend Pitti Uomo, the international menswear conference where I snapped away, creating all kinds of new material for my Spring 2019 exhibit. *Insert Canadian sunburn...
Suits aside (but never on the side), I’m currently working on a really exciting collaboration with the incredibly talented (and official) Montana Agriculture Photographer Todd Klassy. Stay tuned for some western-inspired works I’ve been eager to share with you!
I’m off to Art Basel Miami Beach in a couple of weeks and look forward to seeing all of my usual suspects and meeting new!
If you’re on Instagram, JOIN ME on my ride, where I’ll be (trying) to update you more frequently about more personal projects that have been underway for quite some time, one being a digital-gallery concept to take on the road, and another, near and dear to my heart, which will be a one-on-one interview series taking place in my studio, set to begin filming this winter. Don’t miss it!
Last, but not least, I’d like to introduce the newest member of our team, Ms. Kelly Rose Adams, Fine Artist and recent OCAD grad! WOO!! Happy to know, and work with you Kelly! As always, it goes without saying I greatly appreciate everyone’s love, support and patronage since day one (2012). I also, really appreciate you keeping up and allowing me to share my activities with you (if you made it this far in the newsletter!).
I encourage you to attend my exhibits, share my work (THANK YOU!!) and participate in any one of my community initiatives. It’s always a pleasure to have you come by the studio!
Stay well, and stay warm!
